Develop powerful tools for reducing physical and psychological stress related symptoms to promote health and wellness. Experience a variety of stress reduction practices and explore what works for you. This class includes an interactive lecture, experiential practices and resources to help you bring the practices and their benefits home to you and your family’s daily life.  

Yoga

The true essence of mind and body experience use various physical motions to achieve a sense of both physical and mental wellbeing. These practices are a science and an art form that have developed over many centuries as a means of strengthening and energizing the physical body. They include physical exercises to make you reach the ultimate goal of uniting your soul with universe. It is a scientific exploration of the inner self affecting not only the conscious, but also the subconscious mind. Ultimately it can bring about a metamorphosis in you that leads to self realization.  

Tai Chi

As graceful, continuous movements combined with breathing control to promote relaxation, balance, flexibility muscle tone and coordination, Tai Chi improves your overall physical and mental agility. Tai Chi teaches the cultivation, balancing and focusing of internal energy and is used to treat a variety of ailments such as back pain, ulcers and stress.  

Qi Gong

An ancient Chinese exercise system that aims to stimulate and balance the flow of Qi along the meridians. Consisting of breathing exercises and patterns, it combines slow movements with regulated and directed deep breathing to facilitate the movement of Qi throughout the body to increase vitality. Qi-Gong is effective in reducing stress, improve blood circulation and enhance immune function.  

Morning stretch

Morning Stretch is a gentle stretch class to increase your flexibility and range of motion.
